Sing and Jam with AAC
Are you curious how to elevate student voices authentically in the visual art, music and theater environments?   During this session, participants will develop and deepen their understanding of communication and access to proactively enhance student learning. Teachers will discover different types of communication systems and learn how to use these systems to enhance communication, discussion, and stage performance.   Participants will explore ways to design classroom environments and activities to promote communication and independence. Additionally, we will discuss vocabulary tiers, effective questioning strategies, and best AAC practices to support and include all learners. As a finale, teachers will learn various methods to utilize AAC authentically on stage.
